LIMA — A 16-year-old male appears to be the victim of the city’s latest homicide, suffering a gunshot wound just before midnight Tuesday.
The Lima Police Department declined to release the name of the victim early Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the intersection of Collett and North streets and found the boy, who had been shot and collapsed near the intersection, according to a press release from Steve Stechschulte of the Lima Police Department. Officers found the shooting took place about a block away at an apartment in the 900 block of West Wayne Street.
