LIMA — The former executive director of Crossroads Crisis Center was present in a Lima courtroom Thursday to answer to a charge of theft.

Emily Wrencher, 65, entered a plea of not guilty to a single count of fourth-degree felony theft during her arraignment hearing in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Assistant Allen County Prosecutor Randall Basinger said the state’s case alleges that Wrencher stole in excess of $7,500 from the crisis center by using the agency’s credit card for personal use.
