LIMA — A Lima man will spend at least the next 20 years behind bars after being sentenced Monday for raping young female family members earlier this year at a Lima residence.
Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Reed sentenced Terry Jackson, 35, to mandatory prison terms of 10 years to life on each of two counts of rape. Reed then ordered to sentences to be served consecutively.
In a negotiated agreement with prosecutors, Jackson entered guilty pleas in October to two amended counts of rape, both first-degree felonies, in exchange for the state’s dismissal of specifications that classified him as a sexually violent predator and also removed language alleging the use of force. Also dismissed were counts of kidnapping and pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor or impaired person.
