LIMA — A man who on two occasions checked himself out of the Western Ohio Regional Treatment and Rehabilitation Center before completing court-ordered rehabilitation programs was not given a third chance Monday.
Robert Roby, 25, of Wapakoneta, was sentenced to two years in prison by Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Reed after the man admitted he had checked himself out of the Lima facility for the second time recently.
Reed was frustrated and angry that Roby had been given two chances to kick his substance abuse addiction and had failed to take advantage of those opportunities. Roby was initially charged with felony counts burglary and attempted grand theft of a firearm.
